Medicine Dharma is a foundational immersion into the healing, revelatory, and contemplative potential of plant spirit medicine—centered around ceremonial cannabis practice and the sacred rhythms of nature.
Rooted in Western shamanic traditions—including Druidic, Celtic, and pre-Christian mystery lineages—this course aligns with the Wheel of the Year, guiding students through eight seasonal ceremonies that mirror the psyche’s natural cycles of grounding, descent, awakening, and emergence. This arc of inner transformation honors the Earth’s intelligence as teacher and guide.
Cannabis Sativa is our sacramental ally, used to deepen shadow work, subtle body awareness, and compassionate service. Revered across cultures—from Indian yogis offering bhanga to Shiva, to Greco-Egyptian and Gnostic Christian rites—cannabis is honored here not as a recreational substance, but as a sacred doorway into the soul and the living world.
Each module weaves together aspects of Jungian depth psychology, tantric and yogic disciplines, indigenous wisdom, and integral theory, forming a spiral of psycho-spiritual initiation. Cannabis is uniquely suited to this work: it fosters introspection while preserving self-awareness and agency, and it is legally accessible in 24 U.S. states.

Medicine Dharma: Course Structure

Prerequisite: Intro to Planetary Dharma - July 18-20, 2025
To participate in Medicine Dharma, all NEW STUDENTS to the Planetary Dharma community must first attend Introduction to Planetary Dharma (included in the New Student tuition and offered free to current students), a three-day immersive experience designed to familiarize you with the foundational practices, principles, and culture of the Planetary Dharma path.
If you are unable to attend live, Medicine Dharma students must watch the recording available after July 20th in the course membership area prior to the first module in September.
This transformational entry point explores the awakening of the Bodhisattva within—anchoring your work with plant medicine in a broader context of human development, sacred activism, and inner clarity.
This journey prepares you to enter Medicine Dharma with depth and alignment.

8 Seasonal Modules
Each Medicine Dharma module unfolds over a weekend immersion, offering a rhythm of deep learning, ceremonial experience, and integration. The course includes over 72 hours of transformational content, spread across 8 immersive modules aligned with the Wheel of the Year—an ancient solar calendar that honors the Earth’s natural rhythms. Each module is rooted in one of the eight sacred seasonal festivals (Sabbats), providing a structured yet intuitive framework for ceremonial journeywork, shadow integration, and earth-based dharma practice. This cyclical design allows seekers to harmonize their inner work with the turning of the seasons, deepening both personal and planetary connection.

Weekend Format
Saturdays (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM MT) begin with a morning teaching session, offering rich lectures that weave together transpersonal psychology, tantric dharma, and plant spirit wisdom. In the afternoon, participants engage in a guided ceremonial journey, held within a sacred container.
Sundays (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM MT) focus on integration, offering space for reflection, community dialogue, somatic grounding, and practical tools to anchor the insights from the journey into daily life.
This rhythm—learn, journey, integrate—creates a safe, powerful arc for spiritual transformation, healing, and embodied awakening across each of the eight modules.

Bodhisattva's Compass
Bonus Content. One Tuesday per Month (75 minutes)
Included with your membership to the Medicine Dharma course, you have access to the Bodhisattva’s Compass: A series of conversations with Dr. John Churchill and the Planetary Dharma team that orients our practice within the larger planetary story. In these gatherings, John weaves together threads from esoteric history, artificial intelligence, geopolitics, and the world’s wisdom traditions to illuminate the sacred role of the awakening Bodhisattva at this pivotal moment in human evolution. Together, we explore how our inner work—when rooted in contemplative depth and developmental intelligence—can become a stabilizing force within the turbulence of global change.

We offer an incentive for students to pay in full at the time of registration to receive a $300 reduction off the standard tuition price. This discount reflects the reduced financial and administrative burden associated with single payments, as payment plans incur added processing fees, often require additional follow-up due to failed transactions, expired cards, or insufficient funds. Paying in full supports the forecasting of operations and allows our team to focus more energy on delivering a high-quality training experience.

Our system (powered by Squarespace) will notify you by email if a payment fails. If the issue is not resolved within 10 days, your access to the membership area will be automatically revoked by Squarespace’ automated system. Planetary Dharma does not have control over this aspect of the system.
If access is revoked due to non-payment, you will be required to pay the remaining balance in full in order to continue participating in the program.

Withdrawal Policy
We understand that life circumstances can shift. If you need to withdraw from the program, you must notify us in writing before the published withdrawal deadline (clearly communicated in the registration window). In these cases, we will apply our refund policy to determine the appropriate fees owed.
After the withdrawal deadline, tuition becomes non-refundable, and the full balance remains due—regardless of whether you paid in full or enrolled in a payment plan. At that point, course access has been granted, resources have been allocated, and the training container is fully underway.
Important: By enrolling, you agree to honor the full terms of the payment option you choose. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute after the withdrawal deadline is a direct violation of your enrollment agreement.
